On Monday night in Manhattan, the Whitney Museum of American Art hosted it's annual gala event, which brought out NYC's Versace-clad beauties.
The glamorous event was hosted by Donatella Versace, the perfect hostess to handle such high star wattage.
"She's just cool, everyone knows that.
She's got that sexy vibe and she lives it," Mischa Barton said.
Versace gowns and dresses were the favorite among the A-List crowd with the majority of the attendee's wearing glam-o-rama creations courtesy of Donatella.
Lindsay Lohan arrived at the gala wearing a fluffy pink Versace Fall 2009 coat and looking a bit frazzled.
The troubled actress had guests whispering over her disheveled look.
The Versace clad Lohan wore a gold lame strapless mini-dress with a beaded overlay and scalloped detail at the base.
The dress itself was pretty, but you couldn't help but notice that Lindsay looked off. Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen wore a stunning nude Versace chiffon gown.
Looking far more mature than her 16 years, Momsen's dress had a banded waist with cut-out detail and an asymmetrical neckline which delicately hung off her shoulder.
A sophisticated yet youthful selection for the teen queen.
She later changed into a Versus Spring 2010 mini black dress for her role as DJ at the after party.
Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson stepped out for the first time since giving birth to her son David two months ago. Looking fierce, Hudson owned the red carpet in a pink Versace chiffon gown with jeweled banded waist that connected to her halter straps.
The ruching on the bodice and flowing skirt looked absolutely perfect on Hudson and I am thrilled to see her back out and about.
We are all rooting for her. The Versace gown Mischa Barton wore to the event would be hard to pull off for most people with it's boxy neckline and nipped / tucked side pleating.
But it's rare that she looks bad in anything with her model figure and Mischa shined in an asymmetrical royal blue satin gown.
The color was to-die-for and with her long flowing looks, she looked like a goddess.
I think Brit It Girl turned MTV VJ Alexa Chung is adorable and always look chic with her unique sense of style if vintage-chic.
Wearing a sky blue Versace strapless mini-dress with draped bodice and embellished waistline, she paired the elegant look with a pair of black ankle booties which resulted in an overall effect that was fresh and effortless.
Colombian singer Shakira showed off curves in an eye-catching Versace metallic strapless down with deeply slashed skirt.
The cut of Shakira's heavy metal gown accented her tiny waist and focused on the assets she wanted to show off. Her stark straight hair and strappy heels gave her an edgy look.
Hostess Donatella Versace wasn't about to let everyone else shine in her fabulous gowns so she decked herself out in a blush gown from Versace's Spring / Summer 2010 collection.
The flowing skirt offset the second-skin silver bodice which fit her like a corset showing off a teeny, tiny waist.
After dinner, Versace joined a younger crowd that included Leigh Lezark, Taylor Momsen and Alexa Chung in the lower gallery.
