This season's "IT" bag is back in stock as fashionista's race to get their hands on Alexander Wang's Rocco bag. When Alexander Wang hosted a trunk show at Barneys' Madison Avenue flagship to debut his Spring / Summer 2010 collection, he had no idea what he was in for. "When I got to Barneys, I was welcomed with the news that our Rocco bag had a waiting list of 400-plus.
By day's end, their entire Spring 2010 handbag order sold out with pre-buys-and that's before it will even hit the floor.
Yikes!
Good news, but now we're going to have to figure out how to produce more bags so our section won't be empty come January.
I?ve loved the Alexander Wang Coco Duffel bag since Mary-Kate Olsen rocked it back in February before it even hit the runway at Wang?s Fall 2009 show.
Since then, Hollywood starlets such as Rihanna, Ashley Tisdale and Kristin Cavallari have been seen carrying the hard to get item, which combines the simplicity of the pebbled leather tote with an edgy studded base.
Shopbop and Net-A-Porter stocked up on the coveted inventory this week, but more than half the bags are already gone.
So if you want a slice of the fabulousity, move fast.

I am addicted and at $760 I might have to consider an investment in my Wang fund.
