Gist: Teri Lynn Hatcher (born December 8, 1964) is an American actress and is best known for her roles in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Desperate Housewives and Tomorrow Never Dies. She portrayed Lois Lane in the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. She is also a Bond Girl, having played Paris Carver in Tomorrow Never Dies in 1997. She won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her role as Susan Mayer on the television series Desperate Housewives in 2005. In the same year she won the Screen Actor's Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a female actress in a comedy series and was also nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, but lost out to fellow cast member and close friend, Felicity Huffman.
