Gist:  Jamie Lynn Spears (born April 4, 1991) is an American actress, singer and the younger sister of singer/songwriter Britney Spears. She is best known for playing Zoey Brooks on the popular Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101. Spears announced in late 2007, that she was expecting her first child, with her then fiancé Casey Aldridge. It generated national controversy as she was only 16 years old.

Life Facts:  Jamie-Lynn Spears was born in McComb, Mississippi to Jamie and Lynne Spears. She is the younger sister of Britney Spears. She attended school in McComb at Parklane Academy, where she was a cheerleader; she also played basketball. She finished her education there via online correspondence and received her GED in February 2008 from Kentwood High School in Kentwood, Lousiana. When Jamie Lynn announced in December 2007 that she was pregnant with her first child, it generated controversy as she was only 16 years old at the time. She gave birth to daughter Maddie Briann Aldridge on June 19, 2008. She was 17 years old.
