His brother Scott runs the financial end of the company, called The Gerber Group.[1] Their youngest brother Kenny is also involved. Married to model Cindy Crawford on May 29, 1998, they have two children, Presley, born July 2, 1999, and Kaia, born September 3, 2001. Gerber grew up in the Five Towns and graduated in 1980 from Hewlett High School in Long Island. He attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a BA in marketing.
