Gist:Danny Boyle (born 20 October 1956) is a British filmmaker and producer. He is best known for his work on films such as Shallow Grave, Trainspotting, 28 Days Later and Slumdog Millionaire. For the latter Boyle won numerous awards in 2009, including the Academy Award for Best Director.
